Fragale helps the Newark Pilots down the Geneva Red Wings 4-2

Sam Fragale went 2-4 and hit a home run as the Newark Pilots (20-11) took home a 4-2 victory over the Geneva Red Wings (7-21) at Colburn Park on Tuesday.

He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ryan Wesson picked up the win for the Newark Pilots. Wesson pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out three.

The Geneva Red Wings' Sam Fuller was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first, second, fifth, and eighth innings.

Andy Reed ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
