The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (14-13) jumped out to an early lead on the Oneonta Outlaws (16-11) and captured a 17-3 victory on Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Park.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs to put the game away early.

An RBI double by Michael Ketchmark during the first inning and an RBI double by Sean Mazzio, an RBI single by Justin Fowler, a two-run single by Drew Arciuolo, an RBI single by Ketchmark, and an RBI single by Andrew Turner in the second inning helped the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs put some runs on the board early.

The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ketchmark, who went 5-5 against the Oneonta Outlaws' pitching.

Joe DeSarro's six strikeouts helped the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs to the victory. DeSarro allowed two earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Oneonta Outlaws' Jimmy Hand. Hand went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and sixth innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Tyler Brown ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
