The Victor RailRiders (11-14) jumped out to an early lead on the Jamestown Jammers (13-12) and captured an 8-2 victory on Thursday at Diethrick Park.

A two-run home run by Dale Wickham in the first inning and an RBI single by John Conti, an RBI double by Keyshawn DOrso, an RBI single by Wickham, and a groundout by Nick Russo during the second inning helped the Victor RailRiders put some runs on the board early.Wickham racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Victor RailRiders.
Dominic Danetti kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Jamestown Jammers batters. Danetti allowed two earned runs on four hits and four walks over 6 2/3 innings.
Mike Wilcox ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out three.
