Justin Childers went 2-5, sparking the Albany Dutchmen (12-12) to a 4-2 victory over the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (12-11) on Thursday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.

Mac Crispino racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Drew Robertson recorded his first win of the year for the Albany Dutchmen. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Robertson struck out five, walked one and gave up four hits.

Mike Appel (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
