Ben Brookover had two extra base hits, sparking the Jamestown Jammers (26-20) to a 9-6 victory over the Victor RailRiders (22-23) on Monday at Victor High School.

Steve Simmons brought the heat against the Victor RailRiders during his outing. Simmons gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Nick Russo was hot from the plate for the Victor RailRiders. Russo went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning.

Luke Tomczyk (2-3) took the loss for the Victor RailRiders. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The Jamestown Jammers' Clay Payne, Skyler Valentine, Brookover and Scott Braren combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.
