A walk-off double from Aidan McDermott brought home the winning run for the Jamestown Jammers (7-9) in a 5-4 victory over the Victor RailRiders (9-8) in 10 innings at Diethrick Park on Sunday.
Alex ODonnell led the Jamestown Jammers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second and tenth innings.
Mike Wilcox put together a nice outing. Wilcox gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Cory Blessing improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. Blessing struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.
Cameron Briggs couldn't get it done on the bump for the Victor RailRiders, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
