Tyler Plantier collected three hits as the Elmira Pioneers (12-4) took home a 6-5 victory over the Victor RailRiders (9-9) at Dunn Field on Saturday.
He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.Chris Lehane did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Victor RailRiders, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He singled in the fourth inning.
Kyle Stuart recorded his first win of the year for the Elmira Pioneers. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Brian Reed (1-1) took the loss for the Victor RailRiders. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
