Bray Curreri went 1-3 as the Albany Dutchmen (9-6) took home a 4-3 victory over the Saugerties Stallions (6-9) in eight innings at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field on Saturday.
He tripled in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.Kale Morton had an impressive outing against the Saugerties Stallions' lineup. The Saugerties Stallions managed just two hits off of Morton, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his 4 2/3 innings of work.
Joe Pokrentowski improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Albany Dutchmen. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Mike Davis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
