The Victor RailRiders (8-6) beat the Adirondack Trail Blazers (3-10) 3-2 on Thursday at Victor High School behind Dale Wickham, who went 2-4.

Kyle Cunningham boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Michael Ammerman pitched lights out for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. Ammerman held the Victor RailRiders hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Eoin McAvinchey improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Victor RailRiders. He allowed two runs over five innings. McAvinchey struck out four, walked four and gave up three hits.

Aaron Hedgecock (0-1) took the loss for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
