A walk-off single from Jared Baldinelli brought home the winning run for the Utica Blue Sox (8-4) in a 5-4 victory over the Jamestown Jammers at Donovan Stadium on Wednesday.

Baldinelli got on base three times in the game for the Utica Blue Sox. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the ninth inning.

Jack McClure pitched lights out for the Utica Blue Sox. McClure held the Jamestown Jammers (5-8) hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three.

Chad Burrows improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Utica Blue Sox. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Cory Blessing ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
