The Victor RailRiders drub the Newark Pilots, 12-6

The Newark Pilots (10-7) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the Victor RailRiders (9-7) won in blowout fashion, 12-6 at Colburn Park.

The Victor RailRiders scored six runs in the second on the Victor RailRiders scored in the second on a single by Dylan Cruther, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Dale Wickham, an error, an RBI single by Nick Russo, and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Boldwin.

Wickham racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Victor RailRiders.

Chris Whelan racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newark Pilots. He singled in the first and third innings.

Jake Casey got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Casey struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

D.J. Mendenhall couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Newark Pilots, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
