Three first-inning runs helped the Saugerties Stallions (4-1) to an 8-4 win over the Glens Falls Dragons (1-5) at East Field on Wednesday.

The Saugerties Stallions scored in the first on , a single by Adam Chase, and a two-run double by Vince Lakes Jr..

Tyler Noe led the Saugerties Stallions' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Nicholas Burns picked up the win for the Saugerties Stallions. Burns allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Robbie Knightes was solid at the plate for the Glens Falls Dragons. Knightes went 3-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

PJ Watson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked five and struck out six.
