The Newark Pilots make the most of 10 hits in 7-4 victory over the Jamestown Jammers

The Newark Pilots (13-9) and the Jamestown Jammers (10-10) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Newark Pilots that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-4 win at Diethrick Park.

Bo-Hao Huang racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Newark Pilots. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh innings.

Skyler Defer picked up the win for the Newark Pilots. Defer allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.

The Jamestown Jammers were led by Hunter Jones's hitting. Jones went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the seventh inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Bradley Griggs was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
