The Treasure Valley (32-18) jumped on the Tacoma (33-12) early on their way to a 5-3 win on Friday at Elks Memorial , scoring three runs in the first inning.

The Treasure Valley scored in the first on an RBI double by Jerred Seamons and a two-run single by Nolan Jekich.

The Treasure Valley were led by Tyler Roper's hitting. Roper went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

Sam Wong racked up eight strikeouts in the the Treasure Valley win. Wong allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over six innings.

Mathew Henckel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
