Friday was a great day for Garrett Westberg, as Westberg pitched 8 1/3 shutout innings to carry the Tacoma (33-12) to a 7-0 victory over the Clark (21-23) at Elks Memorial .

Vieth boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Tacoma.
Chris Carns ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out two.
