Mt. Hood vs Douglas: 7-2

The Mt. Hood take out the Douglas with help from Marcy, 7-2

Megan Marcy went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the Mt. Hood (38-8) to a 7-2 victory over the Douglas (29-8) on Monday at Delta Park.

He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Kayla Byers got the win for the Mt. Hood thanks to six strikeouts. Byers allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Keeley Ainge (17-5) took the loss for the Douglas. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
