Taylor Woodward had three RBIs, sparking the Douglas (29-7) to an 8-6 victory in seven innings over the Bellevue (41-8) on Monday at Delta Park.
He doubled in the second innings and singled in the fourth inning.Rachael Delamare was hot from the plate for the Bellevue. Delamare went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning.
Keeley Ainge got his seventeenth win for the Douglas despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Ainge struck out three, walked four and gave up 10 hits.
Ciera Lockwood couldn't get it done on the hill for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked none and struck out two.
