The Clackamas make the most of 8 hits in 4-3 victory over the Centralia

The Clackamas (37-11) and the Centralia (31-13) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Clackamas capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Delta Park.

Taylor Balfour had a hot bat for the Clackamas. Balfour went 3-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Emily Marchbanks got the win for the Clackamas thanks to five strikeouts. The Clackamas' pitcher tossed three innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Kayla Hoke paced the Centralia at the plate. Hoke went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Kierstin Smith was charged with his eighth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
