Katie Barron hit three home runs to carry the North Idaho (35-12) to a 17-0 win over the Walla Walla (29-20) at Delta Park in five innings.

Barron racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the North Idaho. He singled in the third inning and homered in the first, second, and fourth innings.

Ten runs in the opening three innings allowed the North Idaho to easily put away the Walla Walla. A three-run home run by Barron, a sacrifice fly by Ana Raynor, a two-run single by Abby Howard, and a two-run single by Howard during the first inning and a two-run home run by Barron in the second inning supplied the early offense for the North Idaho.

Barron got the win for the North Idaho thanks to six strikeouts. The North Idaho's pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Mallory Chavez (16-7) took the loss for the Walla Walla. He allowed eight runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one.
