Sam Boyce collected three hits, sparking the Lower Columbia (32-13) to a 9-5 victory in seven innings over the Edmonds (20-19) on Saturday at Delta Park.
He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.KamrynMae Kanae had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Bailey Ellis recorded his tenth win for the Lower Columbia even though he allowed five runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Hailey Malakowski (17-16) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out two.
