The Clackamas (35-11) and the Columbia Basin (33-18) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Clackamas capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at Delta Park.

Karissa Valdez boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Columbia Basin. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Emily Marchbanks improved to 19-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Clackamas. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Kayla Andrews couldn't get it done on the mound for the Columbia Basin, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed one run.
