Keeley Ainge kept the Spokane (29-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Douglas (27-6) beat the Spokane, 2-0.
Ainge struck out two and allowed no walks and two hits.
Despite the loss, the Spokane's Michele Strauss dominated the Douglas' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Strauss ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his eighth loss of the year.
