McKenzie Wasson went 2-2, sparking the Centralia (31-11) to a 3-2 victory in seven innings over the North Idaho (34-12) on Friday at Delta Park.

Kierstin Smith struck out seven hitters en route to the the Centralia win. Smith allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Despite the loss, the North Idaho's Katie Barron dominated the Centralia's batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Barron ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year.
