The Columbia Basin make the most of 7 hits in 7-6 victory over the Walla Walla

The Columbia Basin (33-16) and the Walla Walla (28-19) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Columbia Basin that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-6 win at Delta Park.

Kadi Patterson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Anna Williams had a hot bat for the Walla Walla. Williams went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

Kayla Andrews recorded his twenty-eighth win for the Columbia Basin even though he allowed six runs over seven innings. Andrews struck out eight, walked two and gave up 13 hits.

Mallory Chavez couldn't get it done on the hill for the Walla Walla, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked six and struck out none.
