Tiara Champ went 3-3 at the plate as the Mt. Hood (34-8) took home a 7-2 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (24-18) in seven innings at Delta Park on Friday.
He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.Kayla Byers picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Byers allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Karly Malcolm had an impressive outing against the Mt. Hood's lineup. The Mt. Hood managed just two hits off of Malcolm, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Kylee Lambert (4-3) took the loss for the Wenatchee Valley. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
