The Lane (28-12) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-3 to the Chemeketa (27-17) on Monday.

An RBI single by Austin Cline gave the Chemeketa the lead in the eighth inning.

Thomas Ahlstrom racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chemeketa. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Logan Roberts put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lane. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third and sixth innings.

Nick Goodman got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Goodman struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Bryan Jakiemiec (0-1) took the loss for the Lane. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
