Brooke Writer went 3-3 at the plate as the Wenatchee Valley (23-17) took home a 10-5 victory over the Yakima Valley (5-38) in seven innings on Wednesday.

The Yakima Valley were led by Lexi Rodriguez's hitting. Rodriguez went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Kylee Lambert improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Lambert struck out one, walked none and gave up nine hits.

Beth Anderson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his twenty-fourth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out two.
