Highline vs Centralia: 4-12

Early lead gives the Centralia easy victory over the Highline, 12-4

The Centralia (24-11) jumped out to an early lead on the Highline (9-26) and captured a 12-4 victory on Saturday at Centralia .

With eight runs in the first three innings, the Centralia left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A three-run home run by Sierra Seymour and a two-run home run by Kayla Hoke during the first inning and a two-run error in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Centralia.

McKenzie Wasson racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Centralia. He singled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Precious Tabangcura racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Highline. He homered in the second inning.

Kierstin Smith got the win, running his season record to 15-6. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Stefani Gollin couldn't get it done on the hill for the Highline, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
