The Shoreline (11-14) didn't put up much of a fight on Tuesday, as the Everett (16-15) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win in seven innings at Everett Boys _ Girls Club .

A wild pitch and a three-run double by Cherise Shaver helped the Everett score four runs in the sixth. The Everett had three hits in the inning.

Scarlett Nyenhuis went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Everett. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Rylee Thomas got the win for the Everett thanks to 10 strikeouts. Thomas allowed two earned runs on five hits and five walks over seven innings.

Dakota Green (3-7) took the loss for the Shoreline. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out one.
