John Carlos Peralta hit two home runs to carry the Salina Stockade (21-24) to a 13-8 win over the Great Bend Boom (16-26) at Al Burns Field.

Carlos Peralta racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Salina Stockade. He homered in the third and eighth innings.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 21 runs and 23 hits, including zero extra base hits. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Skyler Janisse's six strikeouts helped the Salina Stockade to the victory. Janisse allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Tevin Padgett was hot from the plate for the Great Bend Boom. Padgett went 2-4 and scored three runs. He singled in the eighth inning.

Matt Marino (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
