A walk-off solo blast from Tevin Padgett brought home the winning run for the Great Bend Boom (17-30) in a 6-5 victory over the Garden City Wind (27-22) in 10 innings at Al Burns Field on Friday.

Logan Trowbridge recorded his first win of the year for the Great Bend Boom. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Chip White couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Garden City Wind, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
