The bats were busy at Griggs Park on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Tucson Saguaros (21-6) had a 14-8 win over the White Sands Pupfish (11-16).

The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.

The Tucson Saguaros blew out the White Sands Pupfish thanks to 19 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Tucson Saguaros scored three runs in the seventh on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Michael Rampone, an RBI double by Ryan Retz, and an RBI single by Jesse Baker.

Adam Urbania racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Steven Borkowski improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Tucson Saguaros. He allowed three runs over five innings. Borkowski struck out six, walked two and gave up five hits.

Nick Bozman (1-3) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out five.
