The Bellevue top the Shoreline behind Boyd's 3 hits, 8-6

An outstanding effort by Alex Boyd hoisted the Bellevue (28-5) to an 8-6 win in seven innings over the Shoreline (10-10) on Tuesday at Meridian Park.

Boyd blasted two home runs for the Bellevue. Boyd went 3-3 in the game with five RBIs and three runs scored. Boyd homered in the first and third innings.

The Bellevue scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Kathryn Goff racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Shoreline. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Ciera Lockwood got the win, running his season record to 14-2. He allowed three runs over five innings. Lockwood struck out one, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Goff (6-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out none.
