The Columbia Basin make the most of 10 hits in 10-6 victory over the Wenatchee Valley

The Columbia Basin (27-9) and the Wenatchee Valley (16-13) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Columbia Basin that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 10-6 win.

Maddy Jones racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Wenatchee Valley's Allie Kopczynski. Kopczynski went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Kayla Andrews recorded his twenty-second win for the Columbia Basin even though he allowed six runs over seven innings. Andrews struck out two, walked two and gave up 12 hits.

Karly Malcolm (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out seven.
