The Spokane outdone by Henshaw and the Chemeketa, 10-7

Megan Henshaw had two extra base hits, sparking the Chemeketa (9-16) to a 10-7 victory in seven innings over the Spokane (17-14) on Saturday at Gateway Complex.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fourth innings.

Kylee Andreason racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Spokane. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Henshaw recorded his fourth win for the Chemeketa even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. Henshaw struck out three, walked three and gave up 12 hits.

Makenzie Norwill ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out four.

Ashlea Bowden, Emily Martin and Henshaw helped lead the Chemeketa. They combined for eight hits and six RBIs.
