Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Shoreline (10-8) outscored the Highline (7-18) 9-8 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 29 hits in the game.

The Shoreline came out swinging, scoring four runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Highline early. The Shoreline scored in the first on an RBI single by Kathryn Goff, an RBI single by Jeralyn Pasoquen, an RBI single by Alyssa Giesbers, and an error.

Goff racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Shoreline.

The Highline's Megan Chan was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Goff recorded his sixth win for the Shoreline even though he allowed eight runs over seven innings. Goff struck out six, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Maggie Victor couldn't get it done on the bump for the Highline, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked none and struck out two.
