Trevin Stephens collected three hits, sparking the Linn-Benton (18-12) to an 8-3 victory in seven innings over the Pacific University on Thursday at Pacific University.

Ian Scott had an impressive outing against the Pacific University's lineup. The Pacific University managed just one hit off of Scott, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Ben Hood recorded his first win of the year for the Linn-Benton. Hood struck out five, walked none and gave up no hits.

Purcell took the loss for the Pacific University. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
