A walk-off two-run home run from Mariah Mendez brought home the winning run for the Lower Columbia (23-5) in a 5-3 victory over the Clark (13-11) in 10 innings at Tam O' Shanter Park on Tuesday.
Mendez racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lower Columbia. He homered in the tenth inning.
The Lower Columbia relied on Krystina Fischer to eat up innings en route to the win. Fischer pitched 10 innings and allowed three earned runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out seven.
Madison Plummer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just nine innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
