Kiana Smith went 4-4 at the plate as the Everett (10-10) took home a 9-4 victory over the Douglas (9-6) in seven innings at Everett Boys _ Girls Club on Saturday.

Madison Heggie racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Douglas. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Scarlett Nyenhuis improved to 2-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Everett. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Nyenhuis struck out four, walked five and gave up eight hits.

Carolyn Thoveson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.
