The Douglas (10-5) rolled over the Clackamas 10-2 on Saturday at Kiwanis after a six-run rally in the sixth inning.
The Douglas scored in the sixth on a two-run double by Addison Leigh, a groundout by Jordan Britten-yung, an RBI single by Madison Heggie, and a two-run single by Michaela Moore.
Taylor Woodward had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.
Keeley Ainge's five strikeouts were enough to push the Douglas past the Clackamas (19-7). Ainge allowed no earned runs on five hits and no walks over six innings.
Hannah Vandomelen had two extra-base hits for the Clackamas. He doubled in the third and fifth innings.
Emily Marchbanks ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
Heggie, Daniella Vilio, Woodward and Laura Baldry helped lead the Douglas. They combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
