Michaela Moore came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Moore reached on a error in the one to lead the Douglas (9-5) to a 9-1 win over the Highline (7-17) on Saturday at Gateway Complex.

Nine runs in the first three innings helped the Douglas blow out the Highline. An RBI single by Jordan Britten-yung, an RBI single by Heggie, and in the first inning and an RBI single by Britten-yung, an RBI single by Heggie, and an RBI single by Heggie during the second inning helped the Douglas put some runs on the board early.

Britten-yung racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Douglas.

Keeley Ainge put together a nice outing. The Highline managed just two hits off of the the Douglas' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Precious Tabangcura (1-5) took the loss for the Highline. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out one.
