The Mesa CC took down the Spokane (11-8) 10-1 on Thursday at Mesa CC after slamming the Spokane with 10 runs in the third inning.

The Mesa CC scored in the third on a two-run double by K. Padilla, an RBI single by L. Ballesteros, an RBI single by B. Ramos, a two-run double by N Mercado, an error, an RBI single by K. Molina, a groundout by Padilla, and a wild pitch.

Ramos got a hit in each of his three at bats.

N. Verdugo got the win for the Mesa CC. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Makenzie Norwill was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Mesa CC were sparked by Ramos and Molina, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
