The Mt. Hood make the most of 6 hits in 7-6 victory over the Lower Columbia

The Mt. Hood (6-11) and the Lower Columbia (12-6) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Mt. Hood that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at David Story Field.

Isaac Benard racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Mt. Hood. He homered in the fifth inning.

Garrett Myers racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Cobi Johnson recorded his first win of the year for the Mt. Hood. Johnson struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Colin Brown (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
