The Lake Erie Crushers (25-27) and the Gateway Grizzlies (27-29) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Lake Erie Crushers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at GCS Ballpark.

Mike Devine's six strikeouts helped the Lake Erie Crushers to the victory. Devine allowed two earned runs on five hits and no walks over seven innings.

A bright spot for the Gateway Grizzlies in the defeat was Will Landsheft, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Jon Pusateri was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
