The Traverse City Beach Bums (23-31) and the Evansville Otters (31-22) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at Wuerfel Park.

Steven Patterson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Benjamin Libuda had an impressive outing against the Evansville Otters' lineup. Libuda gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Josh Allen had two extra-base hits for the Evansville Otters. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Jacob Lanning got the win, running his season record to 3-5. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Tyler Thompson (4-3) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
