The Florida Pokers (10-9) beat the Coral Springs Royals (7-11) 7-0 in six innings on Thursday at Coral Glades Sportsplex after a five-run explosion in the third inning.

The Florida Pokers scored in the third on , an RBI single by Kevin Thomas, a two-run double by Michael Matter, and a single by Joe Gomez.

The Coral Springs Royals had no answer for Nik Constantakos, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Constantakos gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Lane Bullock recorded his first win of the year for the Florida Pokers. Bullock struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

Jonah Owenby was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.
