The Centralia (7-6) shut the door early on the Skagit Valley (3-3), capturing an 18-0 victory on Saturday at RAC - Lacey.

Thirteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Centralia to put the game away early.

A double by Katherine Muegge, a double by Kayla Capps, a single by Sierra Seymour, an error, an RBI single by McKenzie Wasson, a two-run error, and in the first inning and a two-run home run by Seymour during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Centralia.

Seymour racked up eight RBIs on four hits for the Centralia.

Emily Benton held the Skagit Valley scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up four.

Mallory Kruzich was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 18 runs in five innings, walked eight and struck out one.

The Centralia pounded the Skagit Valley pitching, as seven hitters combined for 13 hits, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
