The Chemeketa (3-4) beat the Blue Mountain (2-4) 14-2 in five innings on Sunday at Columbia Playfields after an eight-run explosion in the fourth inning.

The Chemeketa scored in the fourth on a two-run single by Shelby Bucheit, a sacrifice fly by Megan Henshaw, an RBI double by McKenna Culpepper, an RBI single by Jessica Phillipo, an RBI single by Tiana Boger, an RBI triple by Sarah Wyatt, and an RBI triple by Aiyana Aipia.

Bucheit racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Chemeketa.

Henshaw recorded his second win of the year for the Chemeketa. He allowed two runs over five innings. Henshaw struck out two, walked two and gave up four hits.

Lauren Cagle (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked one and struck out two.
