The Clark (1-3) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 10-6 ballgame against the Centralia (6-2) on Tuesday at RAC - Lacey.
While the Clark led until the fifth inning, the Centralia worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by McKenzie Wasson.
The Centralia were led by a flawless day at the dish by Sierra Seymour, who went 3-3 against the Clark's pitching. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.
Wasson pitched lights out for the Centralia. Wasson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Kylee McClellan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Clark. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Madison Plummer was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked one and struck out five.
