Madison Wood went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Edmonds (5-3) to a 7-3 victory over the Big Bend (1-5) on Tuesday at Triton Field .

Hailey Malakowski improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonds. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Shayla Baker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.
